Introducing the Project 2 Board of Directors

It is with great pleasure that Project 2 introduces our board of directors; Anne Monnich, Matt Fedor, Phil Vincenti, Kevin Kovachevich, Sandra Ali and Ted Balowski. This dynamic group has committed to a two year term to help grow and reach more individuals through fund raising, marketing, and support of the organization.

o  We are pleased to introduce Anne Monnich. Anne has a marketing/sales background and devotes much of her spare time to many important organizations such as the Junior League of Birmingham, Christ Child Society of Detroit and Capuchin Soup Kitchens. She was also an active member of the Junior League, holding many board and committee positions. In her free time, Anne enjoys playing tennis, paddle and watching her kids, Ava and Max, play hockey. She and her husband, Mike, have a passion for travel and hope to continue to do that as much as possible. Anne has a huge heart and we are confident her energy and passion will serve Project 2 well.

o  A big welcome to Phil Vincenti. Phil, CEO and President at Titanus Cement Wall Co / TCI Flatwork specializes in forming concrete foundations and floors for the residential and commercial construction industry. Phil is an active member in his community and holds various positions and leadership roles in the following organizations: Holy Name Finance Council, Michigan Regional Council of Carpenter’s Health Care and Annuity Funds, Poured Concrete Wall Association and the City of Birmingham Housing Board of Appeals. He is a proud husband and father of four. He enjoys skiing, boating, travel, coaching lacrosse, golf and cheering on his Lions! Phil’s charismatic personality, solid work ethic and years of experience will be beneficial to the growth of Project 2.

o  We are excited to welcome Sandra Ali, an award-winning anchor and reporter who has made several regular network appearances on the Fox News channel, CNN, and CNN Headline News. Sandra won the Associated Press award for Best Hard News Reporter in 2002, as well as Michigan's Association of Broadcasters' award for Best Breaking News Reporter in 2003. She also landed major interviews at the time with then Secretary of State Colin Powell, the Queen of Jordan and former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, all while in Detroit. She has four young children who keep her on her toes.  You can usually find her running them around to practices and games, or volunteering at school.  When she’s not with her little ones, Sandra also likes to stay active.  She likes working out, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.  Sandra’s kind heart, extensive network, and professionalism is going to boost Project 2 to the next level.

o  Also joining the team, Matt Fedor, an attorney at Foster Swift. Matt focuses his practice on helping individuals and families in estate planning, business law, probate, trust and estate administration, elder law guardianships and conservatorships, and litigation in these areas. This combination of practice areas allows him to counsel clients on wealth strategies for their business and personal assets as well as create various limited liability companies and ancillary trusts for this purpose. Matt has a unique perspective due to his experience in representing both families and business owners and is able to counsel clients regarding protecting their assets and planning for the transfer of those assets to the next generation. Matt has served in various capacities on behalf of clients including corporate officer, trustee, and general legal counsel, and is able to bring this perspective in counseling clients to achieve their goals. There is no doubt Matt’s extensive law background and big heart will positively impact the Project 2 community.

o  A board member and supportive husband from day one, Ted Balowski has over 25 years of sales experience and has spent the last 15 years in healthcare selling software and technology solutions. He’s a sales leader who has worked with hospitals and health systems all over the US, and is passionate about helping healthcare leadership solve the complex issues they face every day. Ted has been a successful entrepreneur and has worked in start-ups, mid-size companies, and large corporations throughout his career.  He’s a proud, lifelong Detroiter who enjoys giving back to the community he loves. Ted’s impressive experience and dedication to the cause has, and will continue to create positive movement in the Project 2 organization.

o  With us since day one, board member and supportive husband, Kevin Kovachevich, Principal at District Capital Detroit and developer. DCap Detroit has the specific goal to create a mortgage platform which provides clients with the best possible market’s execution, period. Kevin takes pride in providing each client thoughtful, creative solutions for any capital need. Kevin is also an active Humble Design board member. Outside of the office, Kevin spends most of his free time with his family of six. Kevin enjoys traveling, coaching, and staying active playing golf, skiing and just about any sport with his kids. Kevin’s passion for the city of Detroit and years of real estate and finance experience have been instrumental to the continued growth of Project 2.

We know that with this type of talent, multifaceted experience and dedication, Project 2 will soar and make a profound impact on women, families and communities in our beloved city of Detroit and surrounding neighborhoods.
